1. Introduction
Welcome to StaffCo (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StaffCo platform, including the StaffCo website, desktop applications, mobile applications, integrations, APIs, and any associated services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Definitions
“User” – Any individual or entity accessing or using the Service.
“Company” – A business entity that registers an account on StaffCo to manage employees.
“Account” – A registered profile belonging to a User or Company.
“Organization” – A Company account containing multiple Users.
“Third-Party Integrations” – Optional external services connected by the User, including Google Calendar or other third-party APIs.
“Content” – Any data, text, files, or materials input or uploaded by Users.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use StaffCo unless applicable local law requires a higher minimum age.
If you are using StaffCo on behalf of a Company, you represent that you have authority to bind the Company to these Terms.
4. Use of the Service
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate and complete account information
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
You may not:
- Access the Service using unauthorized means
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Interfere with the operation of the Service
- Misuse integrations or APIs
- Circumvent security or access controls
5. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- Any Content they submit or upload
- Ensuring Third-Party Integrations comply with their local data policies
- Maintaining secure access to their accounts
- Ensuring their use of StaffCo complies with employer or organizational policies
If a User is removed from all Organizations, StaffCo may restrict access to certain features until the User is re-invited by an administrator.
6. Third-Party Integrations and External Services
StaffCo may offer optional integrations with third-party services (“Third-Party Integrations”), including but not limited to:
- Google Calendar
- Authentication providers
- Communication tools
- Data storage or sync services
6.1 User Authorization
By enabling a Third-Party Integration, you expressly authorize StaffCo to access, process, and interact with data from that external service in accordance with the permissions you grant through that service’s OAuth consent process.
6.2 StaffCo Responsibilities
StaffCo:
- Does not modify or access third-party data unless explicitly authorized
- Uses third-party data solely to provide requested features
- Does not sell, rent, or share third-party data with external parties
- Stores access tokens securely and encrypted
6.3 User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining valid credentials for integrated services
- Reviewing the third-party provider’s terms and privacy policies
- Managing access permissions and revocation
6.4 Limitations
StaffCo is not responsible for:
- Downtime, interruptions, or errors in third-party services
- Loss, corruption, or delays caused by third-party platforms
- Changes made by third-party API providers
7. Google Calendar Integration
StaffCo provides an optional integration with Google Calendar to allow Users to view, manage, create, update, and delete calendar events directly within the platform.
7.1 OAuth Scopes We Request
When connecting Google Calendar, Users may grant StaffCo the following scopes:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events
These scopes allow StaffCo to perform event synchronization strictly for scheduling purposes.
7.2 Data We Access
Depending on the User’s permissions, StaffCo may access:
- Calendar lists
- Event metadata (title, description, attendees, date/time)
- Availability data
- Permissions to modify events
7.3 How We Use Google Calendar Data
StaffCo uses Google Calendar data solely to:
- Display schedules inside StaffCo
- Create/manage events upon user request
- Sync StaffCo-created events with Google Calendar
- Maintain up-to-date availability
StaffCo does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
7.4 Token Handling and Revocation
- OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely
- StaffCo accesses data only after explicit User consent
- Tokens are deleted immediately when a User disconnects the integration
- Users may revoke access at any time through Google Account Permissions
7.5 Compliance
This integration complies with:
- Google API Services User Data Policy
- Google Limited Use Policy
- OAuth 2.0 standards
8. Subscription, Billing & Payments (if applicable)
If StaffCo offers paid features, subscription terms will be provided separately.
Users agree to:
- Maintain accurate billing information
- Pay recurring charges if enrolled in a subscription plan
StaffCo may suspend or terminate access for unpaid invoices.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, designs, software, and intellectual property belonging to StaffCo remain the exclusive property of StaffCo.
Users may not:
- Copy or reproduce the Service
- Redistribute platform components
- Create derivative works
- Use StaffCo trademarks without permission
10. Termination
StaffCo may suspend or terminate access if:
- These Terms are violated
- Unlawful activity is detected
- Abuse of integrations or APIs occurs
- Required by legal or organizational policy
Users may delete their accounts at any time.
Following termination:
- Access to the platform may be disabled
- User data may be retained or deleted according to the Privacy Policy
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
StaffCo does not warrant:
- Uninterrupted availability
- Error-free or bug-free performance
- Accuracy of data from Third-Party Integrations
- That the Service will meet all user expectations
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StaffCo is not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Errors caused by third-party services (including Google Calendar)
- Unauthorized access resulting from User negligence
- Business interruption or lost profits
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StaffCo operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved through courts or arbitration within that jurisdiction.
14. Changes to Terms
StaffCo may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
